Ryanair and Wizz air expand further in Sweden with new routes at Stockholm Arlanda, Göteborg Landvetter and Malmö Airport

Ryanair continues to invest in the Swedish market. A new route to Barcelona premiere in conjunction with the opening of the new base at Stockholm Arlanda Airport later this autumn. At the same time, Ryanair continues to expand also at Göteborg Landvetter, now adding Kaunas in Lithuania. Wizz Air continues to expand its network at Malmö Airport and increases service with a route to Sarajevo.

Ryanair continues to expand in Sweden with a new base and some 20 new routes at Stockholm Arlanda Airport

The Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair continues to invest in the Swedish market by setting up a new base and launching some twenty new direct routes at Stockholm Arlanda Airport ahead of the 2021 winter season, in addition to two domestic routes to Gothenburg and Malmö. Ryanair continues to expand also at Göteborg Landvetter Airport and will also resume service to Malmö Airport.

Swedavia reaches milestone in its climate work – Swedavia’s own airport operations now fossil-free

Just before the end of last year, Swedavia became one of the first airport operators in the world to have the operations it runs under its own management at its ten airports be fossil-free. The company notes this milestone in its Annual and Sustainability Report 2020. Swedavia is now extending that work to supporting other companies and organisations at its airports in transforming their operation
