Press release -

New route with easyJet to London from Stockholm Arlanda

easyJet continues to expand at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, with the addition of its non-stop service to London. This is the third route easyJet will launch from Stockholm Arlanda within the span of one year. As a result, easyJet will now fly to four destinations from Stockholm: London, Milan, Lyon and Geneva. Traffic will begin in March 2017, just in time to celebrate Easter holiday or enjoy a spring weekend in London.

London is the biggest destination for leisure travelers from Stockholm Arlanda, and now another route will be launched to this very popular destination with the British low cost carrier easyJet. Earlier this year, easyJet announced that it was adding two destinations from Stockholm Arlanda; Milan and Lyon. London will thus be the third destination which easyJet has announced in 2016. easyJet´s operation will now include a total of four destinations at Stockholm Arlanda including Geneva, a prior destination.

“We are really pleased that easyJet, as one of Europes largest airlines, continues to invest in Stockholm Arlanda. They have now established several routes at our airport in a short period of time. Swedish passengers are now offered a growing number of destinations from low cost carriers at Stockholm Arlanda”, says Elizabeth Axtelius, Aviation Business Director at Swedavia.

“The addition of Stockholm is great news, offering our passengers in the UK a new country to explore and further bolstering the summer destinations we offer. We expect this route to be popular on both sides amongst passengers visiting the two Capital cities", says Neil Slaven, Commercial Manager at easyJet.

easyJet will operate the Stockholm–London Luton route four days a week year-round, beginning March 26, 2017.
