Swedavia strengthens its collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières

Swedavia is expanding its collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) through an extended agreement and forty new collection bins for deposit bottles and cans located at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The collaboration aims to promote social sustainability and support MSF's humanitarian efforts globally. The new initiative is expected to increase both visibility and financial contributions.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is currently in a major development phase. Early this summer, the first part of the new Marketplace will be finished, together with a new security checkpoint. A number of new shops and restaurants will also open. Among the new additions at Arlanda are a new 7-Eleven with a new concept and as many as five new Pressbyrån convenience stores.

In late March, American Express will temporarily close the Amex Lounge by Pontus at Stockholm Arlanda Airport to carry out an extensive renovation of its lounge space.

In late March, American Express will temporarily close the Amex Lounge by Pontus at Stockholm Arlanda Airport to carry out an extensive renovation of its lounge space. The refurbishment work is expected to continue until 2024, when the doors to a brand-new Amex Lounge will open. During the renovation, members are invited to the Amex Pop-Up Lounge.

Arlanda’s new veranda is taking shape

Preparations for the new Marketplace at Stockholm Arlanda Airport are in full swing. An impressive construction made of laminated timber forms the framework of an extension with a Nordic feel, which will be one of the new features to characterise the airport and house many of the approximately 30 new food concepts in the new Marketplace.
