How to keep your clothes fresh and wrinkle-free when traveling
Traveling can often mean sacrificing the freshness and crispness of your wardrobe. However, with the right tools from Steamery there is a solution for keeping your clothes fresh when traveling this summer. Their innovative products make it easy to care for your clothes on the go. All you need to bring is a small kit with a steamer, fabric spray, lint brush and a small sachet with laundry detergent, and your clothes will stay fresh and wrinkle-free.
Travel accessories to bring on your next trip
Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, make sure to pack your suitcase with these travel accessories to help keep your clothes fresh throughout the holiday.
A steamer
Even the most carefully packed clothes will get wrinkled in a suitcase. Therefore, a handheld steamer is your most faithful companion on your vacation. A steamer is a great alternative for washing when you don’t have access to a washing machine. It’s a quick way to freshen up used garments in between washes since the hot steam reduces bad odors. It's easy to bring, and the hot steam makes all creases disappear in no time.
Our handheld steamers Cirrus X Handheld Steamer and Cirrus 3 Iron Steamer are our smallest and most lightweight steamers and therefore the easiest to bring on travels.

Lint Brush
Lint, dust, and hair are true outfit killers, especially when it comes to dark clothes. A few sweeps with a Lint Brush are enough to spruce up your outfit again. Especially handy if you packed a dark suit! Steamery’s Lint Brush is reusable and without tape. Other tape rollers can leave traces of glue on your clothes that will attract new fuzz and dust.
Fabric Spray
Steamery’s travel-sized 100 ml Fabric Spray is ideal when traveling when you wear the same clothes for days without doing laundry. Spray it directly on your clothes and enjoy the refreshing scent of rose and musk. Try airing your clothes outside over night to remove odors and add a spritz of fabric spray and your garment is ready to be used for another day!
Sewing Kit
It may also be wise to bring some sewing tools in case you lose a button or get a small rip in a garment and need to mend it. Steamery’s Sewing Kit has a travel-friendly roll-up case and comes with all the tools needed for easy mending on the go.
Laundry Detergent Sachets
If you are traveling for a longer time, you will eventually need to wash your clothes. Then it is convenient to bring a small travel sachet with laundry detergent to be able to wash by hand in the nearest sink. We have created satches (2x20ml) of our two favorite laundry detergents Delicate Laundry Detergent for delicate fabrics and Active Laundry Detergent specially developed for sportswear, swimwear or towels.

What to think about when traveling with a steamer:
Check the voltage and frequency of your destination
The number one thing to check before traveling with your steamer is the voltage and frequency standards of your travel destination. As a general guideline, European countries, along with most of Asia and Africa, use 220–240 V and 50 Hz, while North American countries use 120 V and 60 Hz as the standard voltage and frequency.
Steamery steamers are not dual voltage and should never be used in a country where the voltage does not correlate with the steamer’s capacity. The steamers are produced with the appropriate voltage and frequency for the market where they are sold. Hence, if you buy a steamer in Europe, it should not be used in North America
Find out if you can use the same plug in your destination country
If the plug is different, you need to use a travel adapter. To be clear, a travel adapter is useful only if the voltage and frequency are right and should not be confused with a voltage converter.
Check the water quality
If you are traveling abroad, you should check the water quality of your destination before using it in your steamer. If your destination has hard water, we recommend you bring Steam Water or buy distilled water to avoid limescale residue in your steamer.
