Sony appoints Shinji Obana as Director of Corporate Communications, Sony Europe

01 October 2013, UK: Sony Europe has today announced the appointment of Mr Shinji Obana as Director of Corporate Communications, Sony Europe. Obana will drive corporate communications activity across Europe, supporting the electronics division as it delivers on its promise to offer unique experiences that inspire and excite consumers around the world.

Obana will be responsible for the electronics division’s internal and external communications across Europe, working closely with Sony's senior management, Corporate Communications at Sony headquarters, Sony's European sister companies and key stakeholders across the region. Obana will take up the role, reporting to Masaru Tamagawa, President of Sony Europe as of 01 October 2013.
