Sigma winner at Microsoft Partner Awards – for second year in a row

Sigma is a Microsoft Partner of the Year and world leading in IoT. This was confirmed at Microsoft Partners Awards 2015 with yet another win. This year Sigma won the category Unlock Data Insights for its unique IoT solution Sensation. “Winning again for the second year running is both an honor and proof that we are at the absolute leading edge in the Internet of Things and Analytics/Big Data,” says David Österlindh.

This year Sigma won a new award at Microsoft Partner Awards for its solutions in the Internet of Things and Analytics/Big Data. Sigma won the Unlock Data Insights category with solutions for improved business analytics and for managing business-critical solutions, based on Big Data.

Tommy Flink, Data Insight Lead Microsoft Sweden, explains why:

With their Sensation solution, Sigma sets an excellent example in the field of Internet of Things and Analytics, making this a well-deserved award. Having a partner that is at the technology's leading edge and that develops innovative solutions is very valuable for both Microsoft and our customers.

“The fantastic feeling of being designated as Sweden's leading Microsoft partner for the second year in a row is nearly indescribable,” says a proud David Österlindh, business area manager for Internet of Things at Sigma. “This is unequivocal recognition of the quality we provide in the dedicated work we carry out each day in helping our customers develop and take their businesses and operations to new heights with the help of our solutions in the Internet of Things and Analytics/Big Data.”

Peter Lindblom, partner manager at Sigma reports directly from the award festivities:

“It naturally feels great and inspiring for us at Sigma to be able to say we're a Microsoft Partner of the Year for two years running. Sigma and Microsoft have developed a strong strategic partnership in recent years in the growth areas Cloud, Mobility and Internet of Things, and this award is further proof of this.
