Sigma speaker at Industrial Internet of Things

On February 11 at Bygget i Stockholm, the magazine Ny Teknik will be arranging a conference called Industrial Internet of Things. Through presentation of concrete cases during the conference you will find out how Sweden's largest industrial concerns are thinking and applying new machine communications and production technology. Sigma, world leading in the Internet of Things, will be participating by describing and presenting IoT solutions already in use by our customers.

The conference is a meeting place for ambitious decision makers from the country's industries to discuss how we can make our industrial nation competition-safe with robust digital technology. How can we benefit from the Internet of Things? Join the red-hot debate: What is Sweden doing that corresponds to Germany's Industry 4.0?

With our acquisition of Sony Mobile's development unit in 2013, Sigma is world leading in the Internet of Things, and possess the understanding and technical capabilities for offering and working with various IoT solutions and products. Fredrik Hedlund, Sigma Connectivity CEO, will describe IoT opportunities with the focus on sensor technology and services for industry.

Sigma will also present concrete examples of different applications. For example, how sensor technology connected to maintenance systems can be used to drastically minimize lead times for operational stoppages.
