Change of CEO at Sigma

Sigma announces on Wednesday that Håkan Karlsson has decided to leave his position as CEO of Sigma IT & Management. The new CEO will be Lars Kry, whose previous position was CEO of Proffice Group.

The new CEO of Sigma IT & Management will be Lars Kry,whose previous position was CEO of the Proffice Group with almost 10,000 employees.

"Lars has long experience in the consultancy and recruitment sector, as well as having a sound background in leadership. I am convinced that he is the right person to take Sigma IT & Management into the next phase," says Dan Olofsson. 

"Sigma IT & Management is an exciting company in a sector undergoing significant change. I have high ambitions for creating even greater value for our customers together with the company. I am
impressed by the high competence in the company and in also how it works with managed services," says Lars Kry, the new CEO of Sigma IT & Management.

Håkan Karlsson will move on to the holding company Danir, where he will work as Senior Advisor and board member of a number of companies, as well as with individual company projects and joint projects.

"Håkan has worked in the Sigma Group for 12 years, of which 6 years as CEO, and he has driven the business forward in a commendable way. I have great confidence in Håkan and respect his decision." says Dan Olofsson, Chairman of Sigma AB.

Lars Kry will start his new post as CEO with immediate effect on 15 October 2014.
