Sigma sponsors Swedish Student Corner in Budapest

On March 2nd Sigma Technology Hungary participated in the press conference and inauguration of the Swedish Student Corner at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

The Swedish Student Corner has been realized with the active cooperation of the Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the contribution of prominent Swedish companies in Hungary.

During the event the university and college students had the possibility to meet some of the best Swedish companies in Hungary, get real life insights into their businesses and how it feels to work for them. From now on the students will have a creative environment and meeting point with multi-touch screen table software, mobile charging station, bean bag chairs, boards and displays tempting them to sketch and create.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Ambassador of Sweden, Mr. Niclas Trouvé, and followed by short talks from university representatives and partners. György Nagy, Managing Director at Sigma Technology Hungary, said a few words about the company and the opportunities it offers as well:

“We are so glad to be a part of this project. This is a great opportunity for young people to get familiar with Swedish employers, and for us to meet many bright students in person,” György says. “It was a nice day full of pleasant acquaintances, and I`m looking forward to further opportunities for cooperation.
