Sigma + Ericsson = successful long-term relationship

Sigma IT Consulting and Ericsson have a long tradition of team collaborations. In 2013, a partnership based on team deliveries was formed as part of Ericsson’s development project. This collaboration is now celebrating five successful years – and has focus on putting Ericsson on the map within 5G.

When the collaboration with team deliveries started in 2013, there were 12 consultants in two teams from Sigma. Today the partnership has grown to 9 teams and 70 consultants from Sigma. A large number of system developers work in agile cross functional teams to develop software for Ericsson’s radio base stations – fully integrated with other teams at Ericsson.

Complete teams that strengthen Ericsson’s capacity

The collaboration demands deep knowledge within R&D. The teams perform requirement management, design, development, test and documentation for a complex software in a complex environment. Sigma’s high-performance teams work within expert areas such as development of new features for the product, development of delivery environment for continuous integration, and quality improvements of the software. Sigma’s delivery includes all functions, from software developers to scrum masters and product owners.
