Join Sigma’s Internet of Things conference in Budapest on November 19

We are proud to announce that Sigma’s conference on Internet of Things, organized by Sigma Technology Hungary and Sigma Software, is going to take place on November 19th. We invite everyone to join us at BME Innovation Lab (Demola Budapest, Egry József Street, 18). The event will be opened by H.E. Mr. Niclas Trouvé, Ambassador of Sweden to Hungary.

The Internet of Things (IoT) describes a network of smart devices and everyday objects which continuously monitor their surroundings while collecting, exchanging, and analyzing data.

Experts agree that IoT is the next “big thing” that will significantly change the way we live, work, travel, or even dress. According to a recent McKinsey report, the potential economic impact of IoT applications could reach up to $11.1 trillion per year in 2025.

The agenda of the conference will include presentations by IoT experts, followed by a team competition.

“The Internet of Things emerges very fast. It`s been a huge technology trend for the last five years or so. Every day billions of people connect billions of devices to the internet, ranging from fitness bracelets to industrial equipment. In this way IoT merges the physical and online worlds, and makes technology usable for any person. IoT opens a lot of new opportunities for businesses,” says György Nagy, Country Manager at Sigma Technology Hungary. “I am happy to see IoT professionals, experts, and decision makers getting together, and discuss the opportunities in a connected world.”

More information on the conference is available on the official website and in the enclosed invitation.
