Pan Pacific Beijing - Switch off and connect to earth
On 30 March 2019, Pan Pacific Beijing will host the 2019 “Healthy Earth Starts from Us” Earth Hour event to awake people's awareness of environmental protection.
Since 20 August 2017, Pan Pacific Beijing has been actively participating in the “Earth Hour” event. Earth Hour is promoted by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF). Since its launch in Sydney in 2007, it has covered 162 countries, more than 7,000 cities and hundred millions of people. This year, Pan Pacific Beijing will promote a series of green environmental protection activities during the “Earth Hour” event to encourage guests to participate environmental protection. Such as: outdoor yoga exercise on the terrace, green healthy drinks and salad buffet, guests whose WeChat steps over 20,000 or people bring own cup to participate in this event, will be entitle to a free Green Cocktail or Mocktail. During the period of 20:15 to 21:30, the hotel will switch off the lights and dim unnecessary electricity, unplugged saxophone music performance etc.
