Handcrafted Rice Dumplings from Peach Blossoms
Singapore, 1 June 2020 – Peach Blossoms commemorates Dragon Boat festival with three well-loved rice dumpling flavours and a bundle set, available for delivery or self-collection from 1 to 25 June 2020.
Offering a rich and aromatic experience enjoyed by generations, the classic XO Cantonese Rice Dumpling ($36.80 per piece) is replete with abalone, iberico pork belly, dried oyster, conpoy, Japanese flower mushroom, and perfectly complemented by chef’s homemade XO sauce for an added zing. This parcel-shaped rice dumpling packs a punch with its varying flavours and texture, and makes a delectable treat for four persons.
A perennial favourite, the best-selling Traditional Hakka Rice Dumpling ($18.80 per piece) features generous fillings of juicy iberico pork belly, Japanese mushroom, dried shrimp, chestnut, salted yolk and fermented bean curd. Those with sweet tooth will take to the Hokkaido Sweet Potato “Lava” Rice Dumpling ($16.80 per piece), which oozes luscious purple and orange Hokkaido sweet potato custard as soon as the butterfly pea rice is sliced into.
Perfect for family enjoyment at home, the Bundle Set ($68 per set), which comprises the XO Cantonese Rice Dumpling, Traditional Hakka Rice Dumpling and Hokkaido Sweet Potato “Lava” Rice Dumpling, offers a good assortment of sweet and savoury flavours.
