Packing Parcel Inspection Scanners for the London Olympic Games

Regional Business Unitl Jebsen & Jessen Packaging Malaysia celebrates a successful deal: the company will provide the packaging solution for 1,000 units of baggage and parcel inspection scanners for the 2012 Olympic Games. The project by Rapiscan Systems Malaysia was signed early this year.

Rapiscan Systems Limited UK was awarded by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games as the official security equipment and systems supplier.

Jebsen & Jessen Packaging’s strength in providing quality packaging with optimised packaging materials and offering green packaging solutions, which comply with ISPM 15, are the main reasons for wining this great project. International Standards For Phytosanitary Measures No 15 (ISPM 15) is an International Phytosanitary Measure developed by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) that directly addresses the need to treat wood materials of a thickness greater than 6mm, used to ship products between countries.

Delivery or the orders will be done in stages between July and November 2011.
