Designing of Balcony

Most homes in Singapore now come with a balcony for homeowners to have some outdoor area in their home. Having a balcony maybe something to be excited about. Below are 5 main points on what homeowners should take note:

1)  Garden

Having sufficient sunlight is important to everyone, suppose that is one of the reasons balcony are created. With enough sunlight, homeowners are able to plant some leafy plants in their balcony to create a little Zen garden in their home.

Choosing the right furniture set for your balcony is important. Depending on the size of your balcony, a lovely bistro set can create a corner for relaxation time in your balcony. If there is a huge space to spare, a swing chair may compliment the whole interior. Therefore, furniture plays a huge role in designing your balcony.

5)  Decking

Adding on decking to your balcony enhances the feel of outdoor area. Homeowners have an option of natural wood or composite wood. Both are wood based thus basic maintenance is required.

Therefore, a balcony is not just an outdoor area. It can be transformed into lively alfresco area with just a few furniture items.
