Some wood flooring may be coated with anti-insects solvent that may not be good for the air quality too.
So, it is important for home owners, not only to look for less-layered wood flooring ; checking with the flooring contractor, the eco-friendly standard of the adhesive used is equally important. Ask for additional information from the contractor to enhance your buying decision; documents such as floor score or any form of VOC test from the manufacturer helps.
