The first tomatoes are harvested in Frövi, which marks a significant milestone and proof of concept!

At the beginning of August, FoodVentures harvested the first batch of locally produced tomatoes distributed to ICA Gruppen stores across Sweden. This milestone is a significant proof of concept and a reminder that industrial-scale circularity is doable and 100% ready to deliver impact today.

Vinga Corporate Finance has structured EUR 70 million of financing to realize the project. Thank you, WA3RM and Regenergy Frövi, for giving us the opportunity to contribute to Swedish industrial history.

To celebrate this first harvest, a solemn opening ceremony on September 6 will be held at the facility in Frövi, where Sweden's Minister of Finance, Elisabeth Svantesson, will participate together with the Governor of Örebro County, Lena Rådström Baastad, ICA Sweden's CEO Eric Lundberg, and Billerud's CEO, Ivar Vattne.

WA3RM publishes Green Bond Framework with a Second Party Opinion provided by DNV

In 2023, Regenergy Frövi AB (“RFAB”) initiated a bond issue of up to EUR 70 million to finance development of the company’s greenhouse project. In parallel, the development company WA3RM has developed and now published its inaugural Green Bond Framework, which will cover the current bond issue.
