The LOID Method: Superior Quality

The tender for language analysis services released for public tender by the Swedish Migration Agency late last year was won by Verified a few months ago. Among the essential requirements specified by the agency was quality.

SPRAKAB, the former provider of language analysis services to the Swedish Migration Agency, appealed the decision at the Administrative appeals court in Linköping, Sweden. SPRAKAB’s appeal was technical in nature and had to do with the language analysis method, LADO, used by SPRAKAB.

The court judged Verified’s method, LOID, to be of higher quality than LADO and therefore ruled against SPRAKAB’s appeal and in favour of the Swedish Migration Agency.

Verified is confident that its method, LOID (Linguistic Origin IDentification), guarantees the highest quality language analysis services to the Swedish Migration Agency.

‘We consider high-quality language analysis essential to our case management’, Rustem Yunusov, an expert at the Swedish Migration Agency’s operations branch, said.

The choice of Verified as the agency’s provider of language analysis was a question of quality. ‘Verified´s analyses meet our requirements and standards’, Mr Yunusov said.

’Verified is pleased that the Swedish Migration Agency emphasizes quality’, commented Verified senior advisor Roderick Martin.
