The Tallest Man on Earth live at Värmlands Museum in December
The Tallest Man on Earth will come to Värmlands Museum, Karlstad in December for an exclusive, intense and intimate music experience surrounded by Dorothea Lange's photographs. The concerts take place on the 4th and 5th of December and tickets will be released on Monday, November 2nd at 10 am.
Under the name The Tallest Man on Earth, Kristian Matsson has established himself as one of Sweden's brightest stars on the international indie scene. With sold-out concert halls and performances at the biggest festivals around the world. He has his roots in Dalarna in central Sweden. With inspiration from the American folk tradition, combined with elements from his Swedish heritage, this resulting in a truly unique and deeply personal musical expression.
The concerts at Värmlands Museum will take place in the exhibition Dorothea Lange – Dust and Dreams. Dorothea Lange (1895–1965) was an influential documentary photographer who portrayed the hardships of the migrant agricultural workers in the US during The Great Depression of the 1930s. Many of them lived in migrant camps. In the evenings they often gathered around the campfires and played songs that told about the hard life on the road and the loss of their homes, but also about their dreams of a better future.

The concerts are carried out in accordance with current Swedish guidelines regarding Covid-19.
