The Pool House Marbella – Swedish entrepreneurs are setting a new standard for coworking- and business hubs in Spain

The Pool House Marbella has officially opened in the presences of specially invited guests including the Mayor of Marbella, representatives from El Corte Ingles, members of The Pool including top international scale-ups, and investors. The opening took place almost two years after the initial idea was born during a padel game where a number of Swedish entrepreneurs together with local investors discussed the lack of a place to meet, work and be part of the rapidly growing business community in Marbella.

The founders of The Pool Marbella identified a substantial business opportunity to build a physical space and community in the heart of Marbella where entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses can work and meet. Based on these insights, the rapidly changing environment due to Covid and support of the local business community the founders of The Pool decided to open a coworking hub in Marbella to provide a workspace which will become the leading hub in Spain. The founders spent a considerable time to find a place to locate The Pool, but it was not until 2,600 square meters of space at the top floor at what used to be El Corte Inglés furniture store in the heart of Marbella opened up when it all fell into place.
