Press release -
Zpark Energy Systems partner up with 2030-Secretariat to drive the transition to sustainable transport
Zpark Energy Systems, a leading player in charging infrastructure and energy systems, becomes a new partner to the 2030-Secretariat to jointly drive the transition to fossil-free transport, and reach the climate goal for the transport sector by 2030.
The 2030-Secretariat works to reduce emissions from domestic transport and thus contribute to Sweden reaching its national climate target for the transport sector as well as commitments towards the EU until 2030. The 2030 target fulfillment also lays the foundation for the long-term climate targets: net zero nationally in 2045 and at EU level in 2050.
- Electrification is a key in the transition to fossil-free transport, but to succeed, measures are required within the three categories - The Car, Fuel, Behaviour. Zpark Energy Systems has an unbeatable starting point to work with all three categories and thus lay a valuable foundation for accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility. We are very much looking forward to our collaboration and what we can achieve together, Maria Stenström says, responsible for behavior and mobility issues at the 2030-Secretariat.
As a partner in the 2030-Secretariat, you stand behind Sweden's climate commitments and actively contribute to the transition - both within your own operations and to the transition in general. With its expertise in advanced energy technology and sustainable energy solutions, Zpark Energy Systems works to increase awareness and accelerate the implementation of sustainable energy solutions in the market.
- We are happy to start this collaboration with the 2030-Secretariat. As a forerunner in the development and sale of energy systems and charging infrastructure, it is important for us to actively contribute to a more sustainable future. Together with the 2030-Secretariat, we believe that our innovations and technologies will play a central role in creating positive change and contribute to achieving the climate goal for the transport sector by 2030, Andreas Lundqvist says, Head of Sales at Zpark Energy Systems.
Together with the partner network, the 2030-Secretariat proposes concrete measures for an effective transformation of the transport sector that takes place cost-effectively, benefits Swedish business life, competitiveness, provides positive side effects and inspires the outside world. With Zpark Energy Systems as a partner to 2030-Secretariat, there are good conditions for creating a stronger alliance and accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility.
