Official inauguration of North of Sweden's fastest charging station for heavy transport

Zpark Energy Systems is proud to announce that it is now time to inaugurate North of Sweden's fastest charging station for heavy transport equipped with its own energy storage. This pioneering project has been carried out in close collaboration with Skoogs Bränsle, and to celebrate this we are organizing an opening and testing of the charging station where we invite the public to participate.

This event marks a significant achievement for Zpark Energy Systems and is an important milestone for the company. Zpark's advanced technology and commitment to sustainable solutions have made it possible to create this ground-breaking charging station based on the company's Quick & Buffer solutions. The new charging station with its own energy storage will also revolutionize the possibilities for heavy vehicles to charge quickly and efficiently in North of Sweden. One of the most unique aspects of this fast charger is the battery storage capability. With a capacity of 400 kilowatts, this is the most powerful charger for the general public. The battery storage makes it possible to charge electric cars even during periods of high load on the electricity grid. This increases availability, shortens charging time and makes it more practical and convenient for electric car owners to use.

- The investment shows two good examples of courage and faith in the future in Northern Sweden. Battery systems and chargers are technology leaders, developed in Luleå and manufactured in Haparanda. The investment enables and leads the transformation of a traditional industry. We are very humbled by the trust Skoog has given us to be part of their venture, Jimmy Abrahamsson says, CEO of Zpark Energy Systems AB.

- After numerous conversations with various actors, Zpark became the ones we chose to collaborate with further. We are particularly happy about the collaboration as they are from the same region and the production largely takes place in Norrbotten. We ordered the charging station early in the spring of 2023 and are very proud to be able to offer this innovative concept in the North of Sweden, Roland Skoog says, owner of Skoogs Bränsle.

The charging station will be located next to the gas station on Hammarvägen in Öjebyn. During the event, Municipal Councilor Patrik Lundström will be present to cut the ribbon and inaugurate the charging station and we will also have an exciting testing of the charging station where, among others, Scania, Volvo and Mercedes will test the charging station with their electric trucks.
