Vandal protection increase the security and lifetime of card readers

SystemHouse Solutions has developed vandal protection for its card reader families.

Increased safety in particularly vulnerable environments is the background to the new vandal protection. The vandal protection redirects and absorbs power from side and front blows and protects the reader from tampering and vandalism. The exchangeable display protection cover protects the card reader display from damage and scratches from scarp edges. With the smooth surface and sloped frame of the vandal protection, it is difficult to use the reader as a climbing step.

The vandal protection is available in three variants, one that fits the xCR-S Mini G2 card reader and two variants, with or without display protection, that fits the xCR-SD G2 card reader.

To ensure a correct installation of the vandal protection on an uneven wall, or when installing on a metal surface, SystemHouse Solution provides a mounting frame as a separate orderable accessory. The vandal protection delivery includes black torx screws for a nice and proper looking finish.
