SSG continues to grow – takes on 10 new employees
SSG’s unique cooperation across borders, businesses and companies to achieve efficiency and security in the industry continues to create good results. For the last six years, SSG has had an annual growth of 16% and during 2010 revenue was 48.2 million SEK. Even more growth is planned for 2011. By the end of last year, eight people had been added to the workforce and two more are to be recruited. During the last three years, the workforce at our Sundsvall office has grown by about 20 people from 30 to almost 50 employees.
In recent years, SSG has experienced success with the enormous expansion of the SSG Entre safety training course with about 70,000 trained contractors. Now the expansion of the SSG Product Database is the engine of growth for the company. During 2010, cooperation with Scania maintenance company Dynamate was initiated and by the end of the year SCA Tissue and SCA Packaging will be connected to the SSG Product Database. As a result of international expansion, eight more people had been employed by the start of 2011. A project manager for the purchasing & logistics business area and a salesman for the health, safety & environment business area are to be recruited during the spring.
Eight new employees for SSG
Jakob Sandwall will be employed from March 2011 as a business developer at SSG. He is a former employee of aluminium industry Kubal where he worked as head of production and CEO.
Stefan Tärnhuvud has been hired part-time as a web publisher and public relations officer. Stefan, who holds a BA in Communications from Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall, is also Sweden’s fastest short-distance runner and a member of the Swedish National Athletic Team in sprinting.
Jan Börsheim has been recruited to work with the development of SSG Entre as a pass at industry plants. Jan has broad experience from several companies in a similar line of work.
Johan Dahlgren was recruited to join the IT department at SSG as a systems developer from the 1st of November 2010. Johan will be responsible for the system for the SSG Product Database and be SSG’s expert on Microsoft Framework .NET. Johan is from Hälsingland, Sweden and was formerly employed at his own company Probitas.
Linn Folke has been hired as a product engineer on the SSG Product Database. Linn holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Genomics and is also trained in GMP, good manufacturing practice. Linn has previously worked as a laboratory engineer at Unitech Biopharma in Matfors, as an engineer at CaniLab-EquiLab AB in Halmstad and as a productions engineer at Absolicon Solar Concentrator AB in Härnösand.
Anders Ruthberg has been hired as a product engineer on the SSG Product Database. Anders was previously a consultant on Microsoft Notes, Microsoft Office and Maximo business system. As a Maximo consultant, Anders has trained and educated people in applications and has experience from several implementation projects. He has also been a board member of the Maximo users association.
Göran Larsson is employed as a product engineer on the SSG Product Database. Göran was formerly a sales engineer at Metso Paper in Sundsvall, working with mechanical fiber and panelboard. Göran has previous experience from machinery building in Austria and as a process operator at SCA Ortviken.
Kerstin Schütze has been hired as a product engineer on the SSG Product Database. Kerstin has a degree in Information and Computer Technology and has previous experience in sales, returns and purchasing at food service company Menigo. For the past three years, Kerstin has had responsibility for parts of the purchasing process and full responsibility for goods administration. A native German speaker, Kerstin will be an important asset in SSG’s future German projects.
