Robbie Williams släpper sitt första julalbum med gäster som Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams och Jamie Cullum
Fredagen den 22 november kickstartar Robbie Williams julen 2019 genom att släppa sitt första julalbum någonsin. ”The Christmas Present” släpps som dubbelalbum digitalt, på CD (standard och deluxe), vinyl och kassett. De två olika delarna av albumet kallas Christmas Past och Christmas Future.
Christmas Past innehåller vintriga klassiker som ”Winter Wonderland”, ”Santa Baby”, ”Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”, "The Christmas Song" (Nat King Cole Trio), “Merry Xmas Everybody” och “It’s A Wonderful Life” som är en duett med Robbies egen pappa Peter Conway.
Christmas Futute innehåller nyskrivna jullåtar som “Time For Change”, “Home”, “Fairytales” featuring Rod Stewart och äldre jullåtar som “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" featuring Bryan Adams och “I Believe In Father Christmas”.
Robbie Williams säger:
“I’m beyond excited to announce my first ever Christmas album. I’ve done a lot in my career and releasing this record is another dream come true. Making this album has been so much fun and I can’t wait for you all to hear it.”
“The Christmas Present” är Robbies trettonde studioalbum i ordningen och en milstolpe i hans späckade karriär. Albumet är skrivet och inspelat i olika studios runt om i världen; London, Stoke-on-Trent, Los Angeles och Vancover. Återigen samarbetar Robbie med sin parhäst Guy Chambers som har producerat albumet tillsammans med Richard Flack.
