Nashville Church of Scientology Hosts Legendary Niacin Band Member John Novello

Per nashvillemusicarts.com, "there are struggling musicians everywhere in Nashville. Some of the best and hardest-working players occasionally find themselves uncertain about the next step to advance their career. Some get mired down with personal issues, and sadly some drink their troubles away and wonder why nobody listens."

Recognizing a need for spiritually sound yet practical advice, the Church of Scientology has begun a new series of seminars to help artists make real progress toward their goals. Each seminar is delivered by an artist who knows their art form and knows it well, recognized professionals and leaders in their field. “In Nashville, our Church is a Celebrity Centre,” explains Pastor Rev. Brian Fesler. “That speaks to our mission to help artists, musicians, writers—the people who are creating tomorrow with their dreams today.”

The next seminar delivered by the Celebrity Centre will feature Hammond B3 master John Novello. With a resume including work for Chick Corea and Mark Isham, Novello is currently a member of the neo-fusion instrumental trio, Niacin. Niacin also features bass icon Billy Sheehan and drummer Dennis Chambers. Founded in 1996, the band's name comes from the Hammond B3 organ; vitamin B3 is also known as niacin. While the band members pursue solo and sideman projects, they have continued to record and tour as a unit to remarkable critical and fan success.

Novello is also a Scientologist. He says, “I began seriously studying philosophy especially as it helped my playing and composing.” Pastor Fesler remarks, “The church has professionals come and give advice to up-and-coming musicians who are searching for answers.” The Church of Scientology will host Novello on July 30th, where he will give his insights on how to make it as a musician. He will also be performing a live concert that night with all proceeds going to further artist education. The concert will feature top Nashville Musicians Derico Watson on drums, Jimmy Bowland on alto sax and Adam Nitti on bass. Tickets are $20 each.

Scientologi-kyrkan i Stockholm
