International Human Rights Day in Malmö - 10 Dec 2010

International UN Human Rights Day 2010 will be celebrated in Malmö with an event organized by the Human Rights department of the Church of Scientology Malmö in Arlöv.

The focus this year will be on human right fighters acting against discrimination. This is the theme as given by the UN for Human Rights Day 2010. It is therefore that several speakers will announce what their plans are for the near future in making human rights a reality.

The program contains also live music and videos and there will be even a Lucia choir.

“There are people who work hard at making human rights a fact. Often they go unacknowledged. It is therefore that the UN decided to put them in the light so the world can see who they really are and so, together, we can take one step further in making human rights a reality, all in accordance to the intentions of L. Ron Hubbard who stated that human rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream", says Ad Vulto, human rights coordinator of the Church of Scientology Malmö in Arlöv.

"And those people, who are working on making human rights a fact, we find also in Malmö. They need support. It is through their work that the rights of every man, woman and child will become known and respected", says Ad Vulto.

The event starts at 17:00 and will end around 21:00.

Educational material, based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights will be made available free of charge.

Food, also vegetarian, will be served as part of the program as well as refreshments.

Address: Sockerbruksgatan 2,  232 35 Arlöv.

Scientologi-kyrkan i Stockholm
