HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN FOCUSES ON COORDINATED EFFORT IN EDUCATING HUMAN RIGHTS IN MALMÖ
“Our Human Rights campaign puts the focus on education of the 30 points of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Since the start of our campaign in the middle of the 90’s we have been doing only that. In fact, human rights have to made a fact, not an idealistic dream, according to Mr. L. Ron Hubbard. And wherever this educational campaign has been implemented, we see a raise in tolerance, peace and mutual respect for each other’s rights and values”, says Mrs.Tarja Vulto, Human Rights Coordinator of the Church of Scientology Malmö.
“This time we would like to present our campaign to the African community here in Sweden. And as we are serious with our intentions to create tolerance amongst the people of this part of Scandinavia we have gone so far as to make the educational materials available free of charge to those who would like to start educating others on those 30 points,“ Mrs. Vulto says.
In fact there are two different educational packages:
The Youth for Human Rights package, for use in schools and youth centers, etc. for children from about 8 to 16 years;
And the United for Human Rights package, specifically made for those teaching students in high schools and universities, as well as human rights champions, educators, politicians, social workers, etc.
This campaign intents to bring all human rights initiatives together toward a forward movement in educating every and all inhabitants of Sweden on the Universal Declaration.
The afternoon program will contain talks by Mr. Arthur Diakite and Mrs. Tarja Vulto but will also contain African music and dance.
Refreshments will be served before the start of the program and special prepared food at the end of the program.
The entrance is free.
