Dolly Style kicks off summer at Sara kulturhus

It is now confirmed that the pop group Dolly Style is returning to Skellefteå, launching the summer at Sara kulturhus in the best possible way. The pastel-colored girls will deliver a vibrant evening for the whole family as they take the main stage at Sara kulturhus on June 9.

Dolly Style made a significant breakthrough in Melodifestivalen 2015 with their debut single "Hello Hi." Since then, the group has released hits such as "Cherry Gum," "Rollercoaster," and "Habibi." In 2020, the group had a notable performance in Skellefteå, and now it's confirmed that the girls are making a long-awaited return just in time for the start of summer vacation.

– It is gratifying to see that cultural activities and events in our area attract a broader audience, including young people and families. We hope that Dolly Style will be another act that many will appreciate, says Sofia Andersson Lundberg, program director at Sara kulturhus.

During the 2010s, Dolly Style became one of the most unique Swedish pop groups, and their fans have created a completely distinctive pastel-colored subculture on social media. Today, Dolly Style has nearly 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and over 100,000 followers on their YouTube channel.

Dolly Style consists of Molly (pink), Holly (blue), Polly (purple), and Yolly (yellow), and their music and stage performances are characterized by a playful and energetic pop style with influences from the so-called "kawaii" culture, known for its cute appearance.

With their unique style and captivating performances, Dolly Style has captured the attention of both younger and older fans. The group continues to be active in the Swedish music scene and has established itself as one of the most characteristic pop groups in the country.
