Wahoo Fitness teams up with Nike to improve runners and their running experience

Wahoo Fitness, the leader in workout apps and smartphone connected devices, teams up with Nike to improve runners and their running experience. The collaboration makes Wahoo Fitness' TICKR series the heart rate monitors of choice for the popular Nike+ Running ecosystem. Runners can now simply connect any of the Wahoo Fitness TICKR, TICKR Run or TICKR X to the Nike+ Running App. Here you can upload heart rate, measure and track runs and share performance with the global Nike+ community. 

Nike and Wahoo Fitness said the following in their press releases this week:

The TICKR, TICKR Run and TICKR X are part of Wahoo Fitness' TICKR Family. These are chest-based wearables and feature dual-band technology that connects to both smartphones or third-party devices via Bluetooth 4.0 or ANT+. Other features include for example built in memory (TICKR X), running analyses (TICKR Run & TICKR X) and movement analyses (TICKR X). 

The TICKR Family is distributed throughout the Nordics by RLVNT Distribution AB. You'll find these advanced, yet easy to use wearables in sport stores and home electronic stores in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
