Plats Helsinki, Finland

Slush is one of Europe's biggest startup conferences and this year it's organized on Nov 21-22 in Helsinki and Investor day is organized on Nov 20. Slush is getting closer and if you are still contemplating whether you should attend, below are a few of our most relevant concepts for investors. You can also find our "Slush in a nutshell" deck attached to this email.

Investor Day (Nov 20): The event will bring in ~1000 investors, ranging from VCs, CVCs and Strategics to LPs and Angels. The event highlighting networking with peers will begin at 2 PM and end at 7 PM. The agenda and registration will be published on Nov 4 here.

Roundtables at Investor Day (Nov 20): The roundtable discussions will be held between 3 and 6 PM, covering 60 topics all in all. The concept is quite simple with five investors and one host engaging in 45 minute sessions. You can sign up for roundtables through this page.

Slush Main event and side events (Nov 20-22): The main event will take place in Messukeskus on Nov 21-22. During the main event you can take pre-booked meetings in the meeting area, listen to panels and keynotes and connect with fellow Slush-attendees. There will be tons of exclusive side events such as breakfasts, dinners and cocktail events hosted by VCs, startups, corporates and governmental agencies. You can find links for all the visible side eventsand the official Slush agenda.

Where to stay: All Scandic and Radisson Hotels offer solid pricing. The following Kämp collection hotels are nicer options: St.George, Lilla Roberts, Fabian, F6, Kämp, Clarion, Haven, Glo Hotel Art) - bear in mind that the pricing for the Slush week is significantly higher than on your average days. AirBnb is also naturally a viable option.

You can submit your investor application here, and when accepted you'll be able to use the discount code SLUSHXVCA (-10%). Hope to see you at Slush!
