Possio delivers mobile fax number 70.000 and brings mobile digitalization to market

Stockholm September 7, 2013: Possio invented the mobile fax machine some 20 years ago and their fax machines have been sold across the world. But it was the long standing European Possio partner ENO, who received fax machine number 70.000 in July this year.

“Heinrich Thelker and his team at ENO is one of our closest and most successful partners in Europe since many years and I am looking forward to celebrate this event with them”, says Rickardh Gärdström, CEO at Possio. “Most of the 70.000 fax machines have been installed in trucks and vans to improve their efficiency and cash flow which makes me proud”, continues Mr Gärdström.

Possio recently launched Possio Mobile Scan to Email service in order to provide a new generation of secure, efficient and easy-to-use solutions for mobile document management in 2G and 3G networks. This is the first service based on their patent pending Remote Scan & Print architecture and the initial target is transport companies.

Imagine scanning a paper document on the road, when and where it is signed, sending it safely over the mobile network to a pre-defined receiver with acknowledgement that delivery went fine and in a minute have it delivered to the right person anywhere in the world. Documents are traceable, users can be authenticated and the receiver don’t have to digitalize the document before next action.

Possio Mobile Scan to Email Service enables quicker and more predictive business processes.
The remote print solution is expected to be launched later this fall and customers already using Possio GRETA and SVEA terminals for mobile fax can upgrade them to work in the new mobile digitalization services from Possio.

“Even though digital solutions are replacing fax it is still an important way of communicating in many industries and businesses around the world”, says Magnus Melander, Chairman at Possio. “I’m delighted to remain the global leader in mobile fax and at the same time bring a completely new solution for secure mobile digitalization to our customers”, continues Mr Melander.
