Partnership as an enabler for sustainable Nordic IoT-development

Sustainable digital transformation requires collaborative partnership models for people and our planet. Based on open, democratic values and innovative expertise, now introducing Nordic IoT-partnership between Altibox (Norway), Digita (Finland) and Pingday/StadshubbsAlliansen (Sweden).

These partners provide different IoT-solutions but all three supply a LoRa WAN™ network in each country.

In short, the partnership enables its shareholders to use the other participants´ LoRa network through roaming. This means it´s much easier for IoT-based service suppliers to offer one solution in three Nordic countries.

In Sweden, Pingday launched a national IoT and LoRa collaboration in 2018, Stadshubbsalliansen.se. With companies participating in the collaboration, 50+ municipalities from Lund in the south to Kiruna in the north, share the same IoT-platform as well as market and technical expertise. Technically, the platform operates as one network.

As a natural next step, Nordic collaboration regarding IoT is now presented, enabling global partners to launch services in the whole of our region.

Together, we share vast experience in the IoT-area as well as developing agile business models. By serving our local communities with the best possible digital opportunities, as well as sharing knowledge across borders, digital transformation will develop not only faster, but also in a smarter and more sustainable way.
