STOCKHOLM, Sweden, January 24, 2007 - It was announced today that one of the most comprehensive and independent price comparison websites in the world, PriceRunner, is using Picsearch to power their new video streaming service in Sweden. PriceRunner will offer their users a unique and easy way to upload, watch and rate video reviews about products. Peter Carlsson, General Manager Nordic at ValueClick said, "We believe that user generated video reviews on our website will strengthen our position as a useful consumer guide for price and product comparisons. We needed a partner who could offer our users a high quality video service and provide a custom-tailored solution. That is why we chose Picsearch.” PriceRunner is a price comparison website with local sites in the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, France, Denmark and Austria. On PriceRunner’s sites you can find product information, images, videos and prices of products like TVs, mobile phones, digital cameras, mp3-players, laptops, household appliances, broadband services, travel services, contact lenses and much more.
