Per Söderström joins Picsearch as Head of New Business - Picsearch expands and separates sales department management

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 7, 2009 - Picsearch announces the expansion of its sales department and the separation of the sales management roles with the recruitment of Per Söderström who moves to Picsearch as Head of New Business.


Per Söderström recently served as CEO of the listed staffing company group Resurs Bemanning AB, one of Sweden's top 10 staffing companies. Before that he had the position CEO at IT-Resurs AB, one of Sweden's leading IT staffing companies. Between 2004 and 2008 the company group grew revenue by an annual rate of more than 50% in a competitive market, which lead to the company receiving the business paper Dagens Industris award "Gasellforetag" four years in a row. Prior to this Per held several management positions within the American media publisher International Data Group AB.

Picsearch's sales department, under the successful management of William Whittingham, has seen new business grow strongly each year from 2006 to 2009. Due to this growth the department responsibility has been separated with Per Söderström taking responsibility for new business and William Whittingham focusing on developing account management and business development. Both roles will focus on the continued expansion of the Picsearch search and video solutions.
