Czech Republic's most popular site launches image search using Picsearch - Seznam partners with Swedish multimedia search service

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 26, 2007 - It was announced today that Seznam, the leading Czech search engine, has selected Picsearch to power its new image search service. The multi year agreement between Seznam and Picsearch will provide opportunities for the further development of image search services tailored for the needs of Czech Internet users. " The Czech Republic has shown a tremendous growth in the number of Internet users during recent years. Today more than 5.1 million Czechs use the Internet on a regular basis and of those Seznam has over 2 millions unique users per day, making them by far the dominant search portal in the Czech Republic.
