Czech publishing house to launch Web TV - Picsearch supplies Video Integration to Mlada fronta

Stockholm, Sweden, May 28 The Mlada fronta publishing house announces the winning of tender by Picsearch to supply its online division with fully integrated video services.The online division currently reaches over one million Czech internet users monthly (15% of the online population) and is growing rapidly.

Bednář Petr, Head of Online Division, said “having built our own content management system, we demanded a platform independent solution which was clearly documented and offered best of breed technology – Picsearch reached and exceeded our goals.”

As part of the Mlada fronta strategy, its new online division is tasked with bringing its expansive publishing division online. In addition to reproducing much of the print content online, the online division intends to expand the content with video content together with advanced interactivity.

During the course of 2010 and 2011 Mlada fronta will implement video services on most of its successful websites like Recepty.cz (recipes), Maminka.cz (mothers), Fitweb.cz (weight loss service), Orbion.cz (travel) and others.
