Atex and Picsearch deliver fully integrated video solution to Dagens Nyheter - The world's largest provider of media publishing solutions chooses Picsearch

READING, United Kingdom, April 22, 2009 - Atex, the world's largest and longest serving provider of print and digital solutions for media companies, and Picsearch, a premium provider of online video and multimedia search services, announce the selection of a fully integrated video solution delivered on Polopoly Web CMS by Dagens Nyheter.

Dagens Nyheter, Sweden's largest morning daily, and a Polopoly client since 1996, chose Picsearch to deliver improvements to their Web TV service. The system had to be tightly integrated with their existing Web CMS solution, Polopoly, and chose Picsearch's high quality video service due to its ability to meet all the required specifications including integration with Polopoly.

The Picsearch Video Integration service allows businesses to build reliable, fully customized and purpose specific video solutions in a cost efficient way using a powerful video application programming interface. Storage, hosting, transcoding, statistics, user management and other functionality are seamlessly handled by Picsearch allowing companies to focus on the benefits video brings to the business.

"Meeting consumer demand for video and Web TV has been a priority for us. Adding Picsearch video capabilities onto our Polopoly platform, exceeded our expectations, and as a result we expect to see a rapid increase in traffic across all areas of our online franchise, said Rune Gyldenløve", CTO for Dagens Nyheter.

Dagens Nyheter's online presence www.dn.se is one of Sweden's most popular websites with some 2.4 million unique visitors and 56 million page impressions per month. The addition of Picsearch for video extends the existing use of Polopoly on the website, where it already handles all content and user data, voting and rating, digital commerce, statistics and discussion forums.

"Leveraging the value of the Polopoly platform is crucial for both ourselves and our clients", said Gustaf Sahlman, CEO Polopoly, "the integration of high quality video services from Picsearch has proven to be successful". Robert Risberg, Picsearch's CEO added, "Working with Atex, and the Polopoly team, to deliver a solution for Dagens Nyheter has proven highly enjoyable and mutually beneficial."
