The Jin chair garnered a great deal of attention when it, as a prototype under development in Offecct Lab, was exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2017. Now it is part of Offecct's range presented in biobased Flax Fibre, and an upholstered version is being planned 2018.
The design team Daniel Debiasi & Federico Sandri divide their time between their studios in Verona and Bolzano. From 2018, they also belong to Offecct's circle of new designers who add new thoughts to the furniture of the future. Their first project for Offecct is an exceptionally flexible armchair named Shift.
Dune, designed by pioneering Swedish design studio Front, offers an exciting new response to the constantly changing needs of our work places and public spaces. Dune has been developed for the spheres where the need for informal meetings intersects with the demand for relaxed seating.
– Lucy is a modular sofa system based on individual seats – something that greatly facilitates the furnishing of a lobby, for example, says Lucy Kurrein. The idea was a soft and inviting piece of furniture, so much of the work involved ensuring comfort and shape permanence
Thomas Sandell is one of Scandinavia's most respected architects and designers. He has previously created acclaimed furniture for Offecct, in the form of a sofa, a chair and an acoustic panel. This time, the ambition was a chair for restaurants and conferences. The armchair, which signals high quality, is highly comfortable and hugs the user, hence the name - Consist.
Surf is moved around easily, yet it is no “furniture” according to the designer, rather “a tool for achieving maximum flexibility in activity-based venues.” Whether there is a computer or a couple of cups of coffee sitting on top of it. The light table blends well into Offecct's Life-circle philosophy.
Award-winning Italian designer Luca Nichetto divides his time between his studios in Venice and Stockholm. He grew up on idyllic Murano off the coast of Venice, since the Middle Ages, world-renowned for its glassworks. Now, in collaboration with Offecct, he has created an equally pretty and compact armchair that can be defined as a tribute to Murano and its glass blowers.
Monica Förster’s Sheer chair was developed with the ambition to create a chair that is as light as possible, for a number of reasons, including making it easy and ergonomic to use.

Med utgångspunkt i dessa lyckade satsningar tar nu Offecct nästa steg och presenterar OFFECCT LAB, ett samlat strategiskt initiativ som syftar till att kraftsamla i utvecklingen av nya lösningar och nya produkter. De första påtagliga resultaten av arbetet inom OFFECCT LAB är AIRBERG och CAPE.
Originalidén till soffan Linea fick Luca Nichetto från Linus på Linjen, en italiensk, animerad TV-serie han brukade titta på som barn. Med denna inspiration ville Nichetto skapa en soffa vars ryggstöd, när den kombineras i ett flertal, bildar en linje som skapar en kontinuitet.
Islands är ett system av sittmöbler formgivet av den erkände franske formgivaren Jean-Marie Massaud. Med Islands vill Jean-Marie Massaud omformulera offentliga interiörer som exempelvis väntrum och lobbyer. För att åstadkomma detta skapade Massaud en flexibel och funktionell möbel som lätt kan anpassas till den omgivande miljön.
OFFECCT presenterar ett stort antal nyheter under årets upplaga av Stockholm Furniture Fair, Stockholmsmässan, Älvsjö 5 – 9 februari 2013. Att notera är ett nytt spännande samarbete med den japanske formgivaren Nendo, som tillika är hedergäst vid Stockholm Furniture Fair 2013. Även den franske formgivaren Jean-Marie Massaud tillägnas en specialutställning i Offeccts showroom i Stockholms city.
Offecct har fått en betydande beställning på möbler från kulturhuset USF Verftet i Bergen, samt en order på inte mindre än 1700 ljudabsorbenter från USA. Beställningarna från USA och Norge uppgår till ett ordervärde på 5 MSEK. Möbelriksdagen - som samlar de viktigaste aktörerna inom den svenska möbelindustrin - har även utnämnt Offeccts VD Kurt Tingdal till Årets Möbelpersonlighet 2012.
Ett nytt samarbete mellan Offecct och holländske Richard Hutten har resulterat i ljudabsorbenten SOUNDWAVE STRIPES. Hutten är en av de mest internationellt framgångsrika holländska formgivarna. Huttens designfilosofi kan uttryckas på följande sätt: Hutten löser inte problem; han skapar möjligheter.
Offeccts tidigare samarbete med den holländska formgivaren Ineke Hans resulterade i den mycket framgångsrika ljudabsorbenten SOUNDWAVE Geo, vilken belönats med utmärkelser som Red Dot. Inför 2012 har Offecct Ineke Hans utformat en soffa i linje med förra årets framgångsrika O2ASIS-initiativ: designprodukter som tillsammans med blommor och växter ökar och tillför värde till interiörer.
Den Barcelonabaserade formgivaren Mario Ruiz har tidigare formgivit ljudabsorbenten SOUNDWAVE Botanic åt Offecct. I år har Ruiz tagit fram ett antal kompletterande produkter till SOUNDWAVE-systemet; hyllan SHELF, växtförvaringen PLANTER samt projektions- och anteckningstavlan SCREEN.
Förra året lanserade Offecct den stapelbara stolen LITE, som omedelbart blev en kommersiell succé. LITE är formgiven av designduon Broberg & Ridderstråle som i år har tagit fram ett bord som passar perfekt till LITE-stolen.
