Staffan Holm lets craftsmanship shine at Offecct’s stand
Offecct’s stand for Stockholm Furniture Fair 2020 has been created by Staffan Holm, one of Sweden’s best-known designers, who was recently named Designer of the Year in Residence Magazine’s Stora Formpris Award. With warm materials and Japanese influences, Staffan has designed a place for inspiring meetings, which will serve as a calm oasis what is otherwise a hectic environment at the fair.

Offecct’s new recruits relish future challenges
Since Offecct became a part of Norway-based corporation Flokk, the design-oriented company has been given new opportunities to evolve. The new setup was finalised in August this year, with Maria Olofsson Karemyr as Brand Manager and Tobias Strålman as Design Lead. Together they will continue to develop products with a high degree of innovation on the planet’s terms.

During the last three decades Offecct has collaborated with leading designers and architect from around the world in order to create furniture that reflects and meet changing demands, especially at social meeting places. The News of 2018 includes even more inspiration from the past, Offecct is amongst others introducing design furniture by two legends - Frank Lloyd Wright and Sven Markelius.
