Waka is designed by David Trubridge who, in his second collaboration with Offecct, has created an inviting, open piece of seating furniture. It is a place for meetings or rest where we can let our minds drift away for a moment.
In 2017, Italian/Hungarian industrial designer Andrea Ruggiero was invited to experiment in Offecct Lab in order to find a way of turning waste material into a high performing commercial product. After two years of trials, we are proud to present to the market, the sound absorbing room divider Soundsticks™.
Challenging the boundaries between art and furniture Babled is a unique collaboration between the French designer Emmanuel Babled and Offecct. The iconic swivel/easy chair that was first made as a work of art has now evolved into furniture in Offecct Lab. World premiere at Salone del Mobile Milano 2018!
Offecct’s and Andrea Ruggiero's project Soundsticks explores how far you can go with creative upcycling, following Offecct's Lifecircle philosophy. The sound-absorbing room dividers are developed in Offecct experimental LAB and made of leftover materials from the company's production. The Soundsticks project is a good example of how Offecct realizes Offecct's Lifecircle philosophy.
The chair Jin, raised enormous attention when the prototype developed within Offecct Lab was first displayed at Salone Del Mobile i Milano 2017. During Stockholm Furniture Fair 2018 Jin is presented as a novelty in the Offecct collection and it has been awarded ”Best product” in Editors Choice Award 2018.
The Jin chair garnered a great deal of attention when it, as a prototype under development in Offecct Lab, was exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2017. Now it is part of Offecct's range presented in biobased Flax Fibre, and an upholstered version is being planned 2018.
Award-winning Italian designer Luca Nichetto divides his time between his studios in Venice and Stockholm. He grew up on idyllic Murano off the coast of Venice, since the Middle Ages, world-renowned for its glassworks. Now, in collaboration with Offecct, he has created an equally pretty and compact armchair that can be defined as a tribute to Murano and its glass blowers.
Offecct is participating in a new project that aims to make furniture from oat husks. “Another step closer to combining innovative design and environmental sustainability ” said Offecct Product Developer Joachim Schubert. “By using oat husks, which are a side product in farming and would otherwise be burned, we want to create products that are climate friendly and functional,” said Joachim .

Offecct kommer att ställa ut på 2013 års upplaga av Salone Internazionale del Mobile i Milano, den internationella möbelmässan som beskrivs som världens största mässa inom design. Mässan äger rum på Rho Fiera och Offecct ställer ut i Pavillion 20, monter E18. Mässan äger rum mellan den 9 och den 14 april och är öppen mellan kl. 9.30 och kl. 18.30.
Airberg av Jean-Marie Massaud är en innovativ möbel som bryter med konventionerna och testar gränserna för karaktären hos en sittmöbel. Airberg är ett av de första resultaten som kommer ur arbetet inom Offecct Lab, ett samlat strategiskt initiativ som syftar till att kraftsamla i utvecklingen av nya lösningar och nya produkter.
