During the last three decades Offecct has collaborated with leading designers and architect from around the world in order to create furniture that reflects and meet changing demands, especially at social meeting places. The News of 2018 includes even more inspiration from the past, Offecct is amongst others introducing design furniture by two legends - Frank Lloyd Wright and Sven Markelius.
– Offecct's 2018 news collection is summarized under the motto: Furniture with a mission, that is, every piece of furniture has a clear task that helps people navigate the increasingly thorny landscape that separates away from home, public from private, work from leisure, explains Offecct's Design Manager Anders Englund. Besides being comfortable to sit in, Jacket has a highly pronounced mission.
New owner enables faster growth and a broader distribution. “Having a new owner like Scandinavian Business Seating AS gives us access to an increased technical competence, broader global distribution channels, as well as an international network and cooperation”, says Kurt Tingdal, CEO at Offecct.

SB Seating förvärvar 100% av aktierna i koncernen OFFECCT AB. Affären blev klar den 5 maj 2017. Grundarna, Kurt Tingdal, CEO och Anders Englund, Designchef, kvarstår i i bolaget på samma befattningar som tidigare.
The new Bouquet side table is designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune. The table is based on the simple, positive idea of adding a cheerful decorative apostrophe to the room — something to put people in a good mood, while at the same time serving an instrumental purpose.
Fyra tunna metallskivor ser ut att graciöst balansera på varandra. Tillsammans bildar de ett högst funktionellt och skulpturalt sidobord med namnet Caramel, en tillfällig arbetsplats såväl som ett inspirerande objekt som kommer till sin rätt både i det offentliga och det privata rummet.
I takt med att kontorsyta och arbetssätt radikalt förändras, ändras också kraven och funktionen på möbler och inredning på mötesplatserna. Därför har Offecct tillsammans med Claesson Koivisto Rune utvecklat bordet XTRA LARGE.
Den flexibla rumsavdelaren PLAYWALL är uppföljaren till det omtyckta och lekfulla soffsystemet Playback. PLAYWALL är ett fristående och byggbart system som ger arkitekter och inredare stor frihet att komponera efter egen smak och behov.
Offecct Lab är ett strategiskt initiativ med syfte att utveckla nya experimentella lösningar och produkter med fokus på hållbarhet, som kräver utmaning av nya material och konstruktioner. Offecct Lab presenterades 2013, och i år tar Offecct ytterligare ett steg i skapandet av lösningar bortom det ordinära.
