SMART Technologies lanserar nu två nya produkter som tar det interaktiva affärsmötet till nästa steg. Det handlar dels om den nya, interaktiva skrivtavlan SMART Board^™ 885ix, samt SMART^™ Board 8070i, den interaktiva displayen. De nya funktionerna innebär att flera mötesdeltagare samtidigt kan interagera med digitalt innehåll. Samt att det nu finns en multi-touch funktion som känns igen från Windows^® 7. Deltagarna kan använda sina fingrar, händer, pennor eller sudd, och på det sättet skapa en ny dimension av kreativitet och samarbete i alla mötessammanhang. Tillsammans med programvaran för konferenser och möten, SMART Bridget^™, kan man även delta på interaktiva möten oavsett var i världen man befinner sig.

SMART Board^™ 885ix och SMART^™ Board 8070i släpps i slutet av januari i USA, och kommer att finnas tillgängliga hos svenska återförsäljare under det första kvartalet 2011.

New SMART Products for Business Support Enhanced Collaboration

Interactive whiteboard system and interactive display support multiuser, multitouch gestures

NEW YORK, New York --- December 8, 2010 --- SMART Technologies (Nasdaq: SMT) (TSX: SMA), announces two new interactive products for business that are designed to enhance interactivity and collaboration. Both the SMART Board^™ 885ix interactive whiteboard system and the SMART Board 8070i interactive display support common multitouch gestures currently recognized in the Microsoft^® Windows^® 7 operating system, enabling multiple users to create and interact with digital content simultaneously. Using SMART’s patented DViT^™ (Digital Vision Touch) technology, both the interactive whiteboard system and the interactive display deliver an exceptional touch experience that supports multitouch, multiuser writing and object awareness. Object awareness enables users to interact with digital content using their fingers, fists, pens or erasers interchangeably and allows two users to work simultaneously at the interactive whiteboard system or interactive display. Both the 885ix and the 8070i will be available globally by the end of January 2011.

The SMART Board 885ix interactive whiteboard system is a fully integrated, easy-to-use system that includes an 87” (221 cm) widescreen interactive whiteboard with 16:10 aspect ratio, ultra-short-throw projector and extended control panel (ECP). The SMART Board 8070i interactive display offers a high definition 70” (177.8 cm) display with 16:9 aspect ratio and features a sleek, contemporary design to complement the business environment. Both the interactive whiteboard system and the interactive display ship with SMART Meeting Pro^™ software, which is specifically designed to facilitate meeting management and enable effective and efficient multitouch collaboration. Used in conjunction with SMART Bridgit^™ conferencing software and SMART Meeting Pro^™ Premium software, meeting participants can automatically connect from anywhere in the world to share and interact with digital documents, minimizing the need for travel.
