Summer is finally here and on Friday the 21st we celebrate Midsummer, the longest day of the year! Swedes tend to leave the city and go out in the Arcipelago or to their summer houses to celebrate during this weekend whereas you may find the city to be empty. However rest assured that at Lydmar there is always something going on and something to do!

Wine & Dine

During Midsummer our Dining Room will serve an extended brunch menu spiced with a few classic Midsummer dishes. Poached Trout, Lerpotta Herring and of course Meatballs with classical condiments is a must! If you are feeling festive, make sure to order a Snaps - which is a vodka spiced with herbs - to accompany your food. Hurry and book your table here!

As long as the weather is good our Terrace on the 2nd floor is open throughout the day for lunch and dinner and the Patio at the front of the hotel for drinks & music.

                                                                                      
                                                                                     Lydmar takes the interior to a new level

In conjunction with Lydmar Hotel's 10-year anniversary in October last year an extensive makeover was initiated for all 46 hotel rooms and public spaces together with interior design studio Nude Ateljé. The makeover was completed gradually taking one floor at a time whilst keeping the rest of the hotel open for business. It has been little over 10 years since Lydmar Hotel opened its doors at Blasieholmen for the first time and the result of the work over the past years and the last intense eight months of refurbishments are truly Elegant, Cultured and Bold. Slightly Different to say the least.
