Redken Global Styling Director Guido created two beautiful looks this season for Ralph Lauren, in that the designer previewed his Polo line prior to showing his ready-to-wear collection. The downtown hairstyle of the Polo collection, created with Redken's NEW blowdry category, was paired on the runway with a more traditional Ralph Lauren low ponytail. Regardless, both styles had a cohesive feel in that they were both easy and gorgeous. "For the Ralph Lauren collection look, I used satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion to give the hair a silky, luxurious finish. It was a classic Ralph Lauren ponytail that perfectly contrasted with the more natural, uninhibited style worn by the model for the Polo line."

Redken Products Used - Collection:

-satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion

-fashion work 12 versatile working spray 

Create the Collection Look:

1. Shampoo and condition the hair with Redken Clear Moisture shampoo and conditioner

2. Apply satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion to damp hair

3. Blowdry hair with round brush

4. Use fingers to pull hair back into a low ponytail

5. Fasten with a hair elastic

6. Wrap and pin a small piece of hair around the elastic

7. Finish with fashion work 12 versatile working spray

-pillow proof blowdry express primer

-pillow proof blowdry two day extender

 Create the Polo Look:

1. Shampoo and condition the hair with Redken Clear Moisture shampoo and conditioner

2. Apply pillow proof blowdry express primer 2 damp hair

3. Allow hair to dry naturally

4. Use a curling iron to add movement into the mid-lengths and ends if necessary

5. Spray pillow proof blowdry two day extender on mid-lengths and ends for added texture
