Professor Andrea Doeschl-Wilson from the Roslin Institute, Univ of Edinburgh, was appointed as Wallenberg Professor in genetic-epidemiology in 2021, and currently a guest professor at the Dept of Animal Bioscience at SLU. Before she returns to Scotland, the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) has the pleasure to host this lecture moderated by professor Ulf Emanuelson, SLU.

Cooperation built on responsibility and transparency between different sectors in society – business, retailers, authorities, policy and science, is needed. And also, structural changes in farming systems. Farmers as well as consumers must be offered increased knowledge and skills.

The meeting is arranged by KSLA and Bertebos Foundation and is held in Alnarp, Sweden.
