GET MSC RETROFIT NOW: FOR ALL KTM 1190 ADVENTURES MODEL YEAR 2013!

For the first time in September 2013 KTM introduced world`s Motorcycle stability control (MSC) on the popular sport premium model 1190 Adventure and 1190 Adventure R. But owners of a 2013 1190 ADVENTURE and ADVENTURE R need not to dispense with this innovative safety feature due to a retrofit kit.

In cooperation with BOSCH, KTM developed the MSC stability control and therewith is the first brand worldwide to present an ABS that works even while cornering at deep lean angles. The KTM ADVENTURE models are not only the most versatile of all travel enduros, but also the safest motorcycles in the world.

The motorcycle stability control MSC supports the rider together with the combined antilock braking system C-ABS (Combined ABS) and the lean angle dependently working motorcycle traction control MTC (Motorcycle Traction Control) in a multitude of ways – of course just within the limits of physics.

Since mid-January 2014 the MSC retrofit update is available at the KTM dealers. Owners of a KTM 1190 ADVENTURE or 1190 ADVENTURE R of model year 2013 can have their bike updated with the revolutionary MSC at the authorized KTM dealers. The MSC retrofit is a software update that can be installed by the dealer within one hour without additional hardware.

The price for the MSC retrofit in Germany is 399 euros (price included VAT). Due to different tax rates, the prices can differ from country to country.
