Sharing diverse realities, conditions and strategies – 19 international artists explore artistic research

Developed and curated by Basak Senova, the extensive exhibition of CrossSections with 19 participating artists is the first international exhibition taking place at Konstfack. This is a result of an on-going collaboration since 2017 and an important step forward toward expanding Konstfack’s international position and its exhibitions program.

Entanglements is the result of a year long partnership between the Hallwyl Museum and Research Lab at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. Five contemporary artists working with craft have investigated the house, its archives and its histories and creating new works in response; Diana Butucariu, Mike Fedak, Caitlin Heffernan, María Renée Morales Lam and Harry Parr-Young.

It's all about research – welcome to a rich programme about matter and becoming, forms of thought, collectivity, solidarity, and more!

Various practitioners offer a rich and diverse programme with lectures, seminars and workshops on/with practical knowledge, artistic research, performance lectures, site visits, and films. Trans-institutional nodes engage in questions around essayistic practice, interweaving narratives, forms of thought, matter and becoming, love, collectivity and solidarity.
