Press release -

Pitch workshop and a special visitation from Sisters in Business

One of the biggest benefits of collaboration is the opportunity to expose your company to a brand new audience. That is exactly what happened in one of our workshops between our company and Sisters in Business. Both members of Marketplace STHLM and Sisters in Business collaborated in this event together to strengthen their business connections, exchange information, and gather new career advice and support.

This time all members had the great opportunity to learn from Bashar Yousif, the founder of our business accelerator about how to properly pitch their business idea to investors.

If you are thinking of starting a business, one of the most important things you need to learn and develop is about pitching your idea to investors as a startup. As an entrepreneur, you may encounter various opportunities to sell yourself and your ideas, therefore knowing how to build and deliver a successful pitch can help you gain customers and investors for your business. It is crucial for every business owner to pitch their business idea and know how to describe their company beyond what others might already know. During this workshop, both Marketplace STHLM and Sisters in Business members acquired knowledge on how to avoid pitching in fear and scarcity and learned how to sell effectively. The goal of this workshop was to help inspiring businesswomen to transform their businesses and improve their performance by providing expert advice to perfect their pitch. Valuable discussion and tips helped our members learn how to land their dream collaboration. What is more, during that day our members had the opportunity to network with our partners and other entrepreneurs to exchange ideas.

A big thank you to Bashar Yousif and Oskar Andermo for hosting the event and to all of the members for their attendance and engagements.

Looking forward to meeting you at our next events that will help you establish a successful business and feel confident throughout the journey.
