JOOL Capital Partner AB acquires Lundmark & Co Fondförvaltning AB
JOOL Capital Partner announced today having acquired 90,1% of outstanding shares in Lundmark & Co Fondförvaltning AB. The acquisition is pending the approvalfrom the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, which, if approved, is expected to take place within 60-80 days. Lundmark & Co Fondförvaltning AB is a fully licensed fund management company and is today managing two funds: Aktiv Europa and Affärsvärldenfonden. Håkan Lundmark will continue to run operations as CEO of the company and will still own 9,9% of outstanding shares. Mr Lundmark will be located at JOOL´s current premises in Stockholm. JOOL will integrate the acquired company into JOOL´s current company structure, enabling the group’s continued growth in the Nordic DCM market, in which JOOL is market leader in the SEK 30-200 million segment.
Mr Lundmark, the previous main owner of Lundmark & Co Fondförvaltning AB comments, ”I do not see it as a sale of my company. We will continue to run the company together and I am convinced that we with joint forces will build a fast growing and competitive independent asset management company. I will contribute with a well-functioning infrastructure and an existing network, including licenses, and JOOL will contribute with capital, new connections and a powerful distribution network. It is time, after 10 great years, to take it to the next level”.
